salvation history

salvation history
   This term refers to an interpretation of the Bible as a historical record of divine salvation: God began disclosing this divine plan of salvation at the time of Creation and continued revealing this plan through the historical events of the Old Testament, culminating with its definitive manifestation through Jesus Christ in the New Testament.
